Week 5

In the past five weeks i have been able to see a big change in my micro aquarium. At the beginning of the project there were many tiny single cell organisms in my aquarium. As time when by the organisms changed and were eaten by bigger organisms. This week there were tons of Colpidum sp all over my aquarium. They are no longer just in the bottom around the soil, but everywhere in the aquarium. They are also becoming larger and some of the are spiting off in short sections. There are still a lot of the small organisms swimming around, but they are in the open water where they are safe. Also, the worms in the soil look like they are having a hard time finding food. They are moving around very fast like they are searching for food.
